I grew up in southern Wisconsin getting my start in local 4-H. I began showing at breed shows in high school and continued to show through college in IHSA at UW Madison and AQHA. Currently, I’m an amateur in the hunter ring just enjoying my horse.

I became very familiar with shopping for high end tack online and had a particular interest in the French saddle brands. I learned to read the stamps and helped numerous people find the right saddle. Over the last ten years I've gotten more involved in buying and selling high end tack. In 2024 I decided to make it official and start Forward Saddlery.

I want to bring a selection of high end saddles to the Midwest and beyond. Through the years, I've learned it can be hard to know where to start if you aren’t affiliated with a large show barn and a brand rep. I hope to make shopping for the right saddle more attainable and less intimidating.
